What a delightfully surprising item for a bud vase!  Cast from real chicken paws from the latin grocery store, these were a notably disgusting thing to take a mold of...  But the details of the foot translate so well to clay, and the spread toes are a striking little item.  They feature a thin wire across the top of the vase, to help orient your flower in a specific direction for display.
