Croissant butter dish
Ayu Hakehouse - my favorite bakery - commissioned me to take a mold of one of their croissants, and turn it into a functional butter dish. They baked massive croissants for my specifications, and I carefully dried and sealed them. I molded the full croissants, then make separate molds for a top and bottom of the dish, ensuring they fit snugly. It took 4 versions and revisions to settle on a model that actually fits a full stick of butter! What a challenge... But the work was worth it, and here they are! 🥐 😍
